What do we do with your personal data?
i. Regular digest
If you sign up to our regular digest, we collect your email address so that we can keep in touch with you. We rely on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR - Consent when doing so.

We typically only get in touch around once a month, and you can opt-out at any time. The best way to do this is by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails. You can also email us at team@happyand.company.

We store your email in Wix - here’s a link to their Privacy and Security hub. We keep this personal information until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop providing a monthly digest. You can opt-out of emails at any time using the unsubscribe link.
ii. When interacting with surveys or signing up for course
If you interact with a survey or sign-up for a course, we may collect your name and email address so that we can keep in touch with you.

For surveys, we may also ask you some questions such as your job title and role, your location, your demographic information, as well as about your interests so we can ensure we are giving you the right information and provide the best level of service. We rely on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR - Consent for this processing. We will use Typeform to collect your details from our website. Typeform is based in EEA and their legal notices are here. We may also process your data using Google Sheets, part of G-Suite. Google is based in the US, and they use SCCs and the UK Addendum to secure any international data transfers. You can read their privacy policy here. We will make every effort to ensure all reports based on surveys are anonymous and will not include personal data that can identify an individual.

For courses, we will use Gmail, part of G-Suite, to email you information about current and future programmes. You can opt-out of these emails at any time. We might also store this email information in a CRM system called Wix - here’s a link to their Privacy and Security hub. We will keep this personal information until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop offering these surveys or courses.
iii. Working with happy&
In order for you to work with us, we'll need some information about you, such as your name, email address, company name and general data about your team makeup & size. You may also provide other details to us. We rely on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR - Contractual Obligation to collect this data.

Your information will be stored on Google Drive on servers located in the European Union. You can find out more about them, here.

We keep the personal data mentioned above whilst we work with you and we will retain a record of our business relationship with you for 7 years after you stop working with us, in line with statutory retention schedules.
International Transfers
You acknowledge that personal data we obtain from you and your users may be processed by our service providers and by social media providers who help us with advertising, who may be based in countries outside of the United Kingdom or the EEA, for the purposes of providing you with the Services. Such countries may not have laws offering the same level of protection for personal data as those inside the United Kingdom or the EEA. However, where such transfers of data occur we will take steps to prevent the transfer of personal data without adequate safeguards being put in place, such as by entering into standard contractual (or “Model”) clauses. We will ensure that your and your users’ personal data collected in the United Kingdom and the EEA and transferred internationally is provided the same level of protection as it would be inside the United Kingdom or the EEA.
Links to third party sites
Our services may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites or services of partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites or services may have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies, nor do we endorse such websites or services. We advise that you check any relevant terms before you submit any personal information to these third parties.
Social media data
If you visit our pages on social media sites, like Facebook, the social media provider will share statistical information with us about the way our site is being used. This is aggregate information and cannot be used to identify you. For example, the statistics may tell us the age ranges of our visitors and whether they are male or female.
Changes to our Privacy Notice
We are constantly improving our services and as a result, we may change this Privacy Notice at any time. If we provide you with products or services, we will email you to let you know when we make any material changes. Please take a look at the “Last updated” date at the top of this page to see when this Privacy Notice was last revised. If you object to any updates, you should stop using our Services.
